ESTA SURF SCHOOL offers a wide range of surfboards for hire. Boards can be rented for 2h / 3h / 4h. We have a "Sunset and Sunrise" package for those who want to surf late at night or early in the morning. All our rentals can be accompanied by wetsuit or shorty rentals. Our receptionists at the surf school can advise you on the choice of equipment according to your level and the conditions of the day. If you're a complete beginner, we don't recommend renting a board. It's better to start with an introductory surf lesson and then rent our equipment. For a day at the beach, you can take our "1 lesson + 1 rental" package.
For beginners, it is strongly recommended to take surfing lessons before going solo. Once you've learned the basics, you're free to rent a foam board and experiment at your own pace in the small summer waves.

We have a range of boards, longboards, shortboards and hybrids to suit all your surfing needs and abilities. 80% of our surfboards for rent are
foam boards and 20% epoxy boards. Foam boards are made of polystyrene foam for beginner to intermediate surfers. These boards promote comfortable paddling to catch as many waves as possible, and are forgiving if your take-off is not ideal on every wave. These boards offer a high degree of safety in the event of a fall or collision, with flexible fins to prevent cuts.
Epoxy resin boards are rigid boards designed for the experienced surfer. They have much less volume and it's harder to row to catch waves. The epoxy resin material offers greater responsiveness in waves, and these boards with stiffer daggerboards favour
turns and surf manoeuvres. By renting our boards, you'll be able to surf the beaches of Seignosse or Hossegor in complete safety with the right equipment.
